Buying and renewing Pro

Pay for Pro from the Plan tab, and decide whether and how it renews.

Only administrators of the organisation can pay. Pro is A$12 a year for the whole organisation, however many people are on it, paid one to five years at a time. Australian prices include GST, shown on the tax invoice.

Pay for Pro

1. Go to Settings and open the Plan tab.
2. Under Get Pro, fill in Invoice to: the Name on the invoice (it starts as the organisation’s name), the Country, and if you like the address and ABN or tax number.
3. Choose 1 to 5 years. Each choice shows the price and the date Pro would run until.
4. Leave Renew automatically for the same length ticked if you want it to carry on by itself, or untick it to pay once.
5. Press Continue to payment and pay by card on Stripe’s page. FairTurns never sees the card.

You come back to the Plan tab. It says Thank you and the date Pro is on until, and the invoice is emailed to you. If it says Confirming your payment, refresh the page in a minute.

Note: If the tab still says Free after a few minutes, look for the Stripe receipt in your email before paying again.

How renewal works

With a card saved and automatic renewal on, the Renewal card says when it renews, for how long and for how much. The card is charged a few days before Pro ends, for the same number of years, at the price shown then. You are emailed 30 days and 7 days before.

• To change the length, pick it under Renew for and press Save.
• To stop it, press Stop automatic renewal. Pro then ends on its last day unless you pay again. Renew automatically turns it back on.
• To use a different card, press Change the card. With no card saved, Save a card adds one.

If a renewal charge does not go through, administrators are emailed and it is tried again each day until the last day of the term.

Adding years and invoices

While Pro is on, the payment card is headed Add years. Years you add start the day after the current ones end, so nothing is lost by paying early. Every payment is listed under Payments, with a button for its invoice.
