Email passes through several hands between FairTurns and your inbox, and any of them can hold a message up, filter it or send it somewhere you don’t expect. These checks sort out most cases.

Check your own inbox first

  1. Look in your spam, junk or promotions folder, and search the whole mailbox for “FairTurns”.
  2. Give it a few minutes. Codes are often quick; some mail services hold new senders back for a while.
  3. Asked more than once? Use the newest email. Only the latest code works, and the page counts down a minute before it lets you ask again.
  4. If one email landed in spam, mark it as not spam so the next one comes through.

Check the address

A typo is the commonest cause: a missing letter, .com instead of .com.au, an old work address. Signed in, you can see your address on your account page under Email address. Organisers can see each person’s address on the People page. If it’s wrong, the organiser can invite the right address; you can fix your own with Change your email.

Check that the email should come at all

Note: If an address shows Bouncing on the People page, its mail server has refused FairTurns email or a message was marked as spam, so FairTurns stops writing to it, sign-in codes included. Check the address is right, then email info@fairturns.com and say which address it is.

Still nothing

Invitation link gone stale? Ask for a new one; see A link has expired. Otherwise email info@fairturns.com with the address the email should have gone to, what you were expecting, and roughly when. Please don’t send your password.

Still stuck?

Email info@fairturns.com and say what you were trying to do.
