Away days for people without an account
Mark the days someone with no account can’t do, on their behalf, so Fill leaves them off.

Bill is 84, does the Wednesday mower run at Hillcrest Men’s Shed, and has never had an email address. He was added by name. When he rings to say he is having his knee done in May, you mark it for him.
This works for anyone on the team who hasn’t set up an account yet: people added by name only, people added from a pasted list, and people invited by email who haven’t accepted. Everyone with an account marks their own away days, and only they can change them.
Open their away days
Administrators can do this on any team, and a moderator on their own team.
- Open the team and press the People tab.
- Find the person and press Away days beside their name.
- A page called Away days: followed by their name opens. Back to the team at the top takes you back.
Mark the days
The page works like the one people use for themselves, with three ways to mark days:
- Upcoming dates lists the real dates of their teams. Press Away on any they can’t do, or Not away to undo.
- Away for a stretch: set From and To (up to 92 days), press Mark them away, then Mark away.
- Away regularly: set A date they are away, press Next, choose How often, then Show the dates and Mark away regularly.
Everything you mark is listed under Their away days, with a Remove button for each.
Note: Days you mark here apply to your organisation only. If they are already on one of those dates, they stay on it: open the date on the calendar and use Change people to put someone else in.
What happens next
Fill and Redistribute leave them off those days, and they show as Away when you choose people for a date. On the calendar, a date shows a warning if someone on it is away.
If they later get an account, the Away days button disappears from the team page and they look after their own from then on. The days you marked stay in place.
